Great set for anyone. I bought this for my Mom. It has all u need for small jobs around the house.These tools a very good and the best in the businessDO NOT BUYDECEPTIVE MARKETINGThis is a good basic toolset for a first time renter or homeowner who is not particularly handy but needs some basic tools to handle simple home projects like assembling furniture or basic home or appliance repair tasks. The tool selection is decent, but not perfect. I picked the 19-piece set to get the adjustable wrench, but would have liked the tape measure that comes with the 24-piece set. There is no set that gives you both the tape measure and the adjustable wrench which are both useful. I am planning to let my daughter take this to her first apartment in case she needs it for basic tasks.WHAT I LIKE:* Decent tool selection for basic homeowner tasks -- good to have on hand* Nice case to keep tools organized so you can find them when you need them* The blue handles/grips are nice quality and have a nice feel to them* Both pliers -- needlenose & linemans, have good action and should work well.* 4 screwdrivers (2 flat & 2 philips of different sizes) seem decent and should serve you well* Nice combo of hex wrenches that may be useful for furniture assemblyOTHER NOTES:* Tool quality is generally moderate, but about what you would expect for a set like this for this price -- generally sufficient for casual use which is the target market for this.* Hammer is a bit smaller than I expected, but probably sufficient for handing pictures and hammering small nails.* Channel lock pliers are not great quality -- a few of the channels are super tight and not easy to use.* The adjustable wrench is a bit lose, but that is pretty typical of this type of wrench, so not a huge deal. It can be used in a pinch when you don't have an appropriately sized wrench.* It is not clear how to safely use the A/C voltage tester -- they really should provide directions for a device that works with dangerous voltage levels.SUMMARY:Overall I am pretty happy with this for its intended use as a basic set of tools for casual home maintenance tasks.This set comes in a nice zippered case. It has a good selection of tools, but there is one glaring tool missing from the set. That is an adjustable crescent wrench. This was an odd choice to leave out as they felt the need to include five different types of pliers. They absolutely could have left out one or two of the pliers and put in an adjustable crescent wrench instead. I don't care if you are using this in the home or in the car, but there are lots of times where you will need a wrench and when you can only have one, a crescent wrench is the one you should have. Had they added one of them, this it would be the perfect starter set.The tools themselves all seem to be of average quality. Except for the hammer they are all of a good size. The hammer is a little small and will only be good for the most light duty work. I'm particularly impressed by the selection of various size screwdrivers. Three different but yet very useful Phillips head and standard head screwdrivers. The handles all have a good grip to them and don't feel particularly slippery.In light of there being no crescent wrench and the hammer being a bit small and there being way more pliers than a set of this size needs, I can't give it a full five star rating.Ordered this to keep in a vehicle for my teenage son, because it seems like we're always needing "this and that" tools for various things not only with the cars but helping out on small projects here and there.Recently, my son had to change a battery unexpectedly, and this kit came to the rescue - he was able to take care of everything necessary with the tools from this kit. He's also used it for a handful of other things, and it's been performing exactly as we would hope.I recently visited my elderly parents, and they asked me to do a few things around the house They had tools but were not together where I needed to work. This kit would be perfect to bring with me when I visit, or maybe just leave it there. They are not going to be doing any major repairs, but having a screwdriver, or plyers, or a hammer handy is good for just about everyone. You may find a loose screw, you may want to hang a picture. This kit is perfect for something like that. Contains 19 tools, but to be fair, 8 of those tools are Allen wrenches (English, not metric), and I think they count the case as a tool, so really 10 useful tools. But they are nice, not name brand, but seem well made and are full sized. Hammer is 10 or 12 ounce, big enough to hammer a nail. Plyers, adjustable wrench, channel locks, all are smooth and seem like they will last a long time. Only thing that is missing, in my mind, would be a tape measure. But I have a few floating around I can add.Probably the best thing is that they all fold up neatly into a very small case. Reminds me of those zipper notebooks many of us had growing up. Zipper is well made, took a bit of "wiggling" to get it rezipped after pulling out and putting back tools, but no big deal. Once closed it could easily sit in a corner of a closet or on a shelf until needed. This is not a toy set, these are real full sized tools. Not designed for a mechanic, or professional, but absolutely perfect for a new home owner, college student, or anyone who just needs a set of basic tools, easy to carry, easy to work with.I've recently moved and somehow my tool kit was lost in my move. I have no idea what happened but this has been a great replacement. The tools are very well made and work great with fixing and putting things up all around my new house. This tool hit has everything I've ever needed and I love that everything can be stored together so I always know where to find the tool I need for anything. Very happy with this kit.
