ADJUSTABLE TEMPERATURE Different types and thicknesses of hair should be styled at different temps to prevent long term damage. The PYT iron heats between 140 - 450 degrees F. Super thick and/or curly hair, should use a setting of between 380 and 400 F. Medium-straight hair between 340 and 360 F and fine or thin hair shouldn’t go above 350 F.
